What You'll Do & Bring

As a Communication Representative I, you'll serve as the first point of contact for patients, helping them access care while delivering exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Verify and enter patient demographic and insurance information
  • Educate patients on appointment requirements and office policies
  • Direct calls to appropriate departments and team members
  • Manage appointment reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling efforts
  • Support patient outreach initiatives and productivity campaigns
  • Address patient questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Escalate urgent matters appropriately to clinical or leadership staff
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience with every interaction

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Clerical, customer service, or front office experience in a medical or dental setting
  • Excellent communication and telephone etiquette skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer service

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare scheduling or call center operations
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
