The Position

  • Build relationships and demonstrate clinical outcomes/benefits of NNI products to HCPs.
  • Educate and coordinate medical information, workshops, round tables, and medical forums.
  • Identify potential clinical trial sites across development stages.
  • Serve as a scientific liaison between NNI and external customers; provide advanced scientific/medical field support to Medical, Sales/Marketing, Managed Care, and Government.
  • Use customer need/analytics to support territory prioritization changes; develop/maintain medical (territory and account) plans with the Field Director.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and legal/regulatory/compliance requirements; complete administrative tasks accurately and timely.
  • Manage regional operational budgets and provide monthly scientific support/activity reports.
  • Record activities in CRM (e.g., Veeva) and expenses in Concur per FMA procedures.
  • Attend medical/scientific meetings; maintain awareness of new NNI data/issues; develop relationships with HCPs/IHNs; support appropriate product use and respond to HCP questions.
  • Partner with HEOR on scientific value propositions and deliver HEOR presentations upon request.
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Sales on scientific strategies; coordinate studies with investigation sites, including publication support.
  • Coordinate clinical education/support within IHNs and secure access to NNI products/services.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree (required).
  • 2+ years’ experience in a health-related system/pharma/managed care environment (required).
  • Relevant clinical/therapeutic experience (preferred).
  • Business acumen (e.g., formulary process participation).
  • Extensive diabetes experience (strongly preferred).
  • Strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • 50–75% overnight travel; valid driver’s license; territory:
    South Texas (live in territory or bordering state near a major airport).
