Job DescriptionSign on bonus available for coder with at least one year current/recent acute care (inpatient) experience.
The ideal candidate will collect, analyze, assign and sequence all codes for: diseases, operations, newborns, and complications for each patient discharge, outpatient surgery or outpatient observation according to the latest coding systems.
Qualifications:Must have completed college level medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology and survey of disease.
-Minimum of one year experience in coding and abstracting required. Inpatient coding experience required.
