About Us

SynapseTBI provides specialized diagnostic and treatment services for patients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI), and Post-Concussion Syndrome. We offer neurological consultations, diagnostic evaluations, individualized treatment planning, neuro-rehabilitation coordination, and multidisciplinary care to support patients throughout their recovery journey.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and patient-focused Clinic Coordinator & Neurorehabilitation Technician to join our team in Houston, Texas. This position is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the clinic while working directly with patients and the clinical team. The role combines clinic coordination, patient support, neurodiagnostic testing, and neurorehabilitation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Clinic Coordination:

  • Open and close the clinic daily
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and appointment flow
  • Prepare the clinic and treatment areas for daily operations
  • Maintain clinic organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
  • Monitor clinic supplies and coordinate restocking
  • Assist the physician and clinical team with daily logistics
  • Communicate with patients regarding appointments, clinic procedures, and general questions
  • Help ensure a professional, organized, and welcoming patient experience
  • Support administrative and operational tasks as needed

Neurorehabilitation & Patient Support:

  • Work directly with patients during neurorehabilitation sessions and clinical activities
  • Assist clinical staff with neurorehabilitation exercises and activities under appropriate clinical direction
  • Assist with vestibular, balance, cognitive, and other neurodiagnostic testing
  • Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic and rehabilitation sessions
  • Guide patients through assigned exercises and activities as directed by the clinical team
  • Accurately document testing, exercises, and patient activities
  • Monitor patient response during testing and rehabilitation activities and communicate concerns to the appropriate clinical provider
  • Maintain and organize neurodiagnostic and rehabilitation equipment
  • Support patient education and follow-up as directed by the clinical team
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable working directly with patients throughout the day
  • Ability to follow clinical instructions and established protocols
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous healthcare, medical office, rehabilitation, physical therapy, chiropractic, athletic training, medical assistant, or neurodiagnostic experience preferred
  • Proficiency with scheduling systems and basic office software preferred
