One of the premier Orthopedics and Pain Management clinics is seeking a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to support accurate billing, coding, claims processing, and reimbursement activities. If you’re ready to use your healthcare billing expertise in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier codes.
• Ensure accurate charge capture, billing compliance, and payer requirements.
• Submit insurance claims and monitor accounts for reimbursement issues.
• Research and resolve claim rejections, denials, and coding discrepancies.
• Communicate with providers and clinical staff to resolve missing or incomplete documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient information within EMR and billing systems.
• Stay current on coding regulations, payer guidelines, and industry standards.

• Minimum of 3 years of specialty billing and coding experience in one of the following specialties:
  Pain Management, Orthopedics, Neurology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Cardiology, and/or Podiatry
• Experience using EMR systems such as eClinical
  
  Works, Athena, Allscripts, Practice Fusion, and AdvancedMD is required.
• Having a Medical Billing/Coding certification is preferred.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
