Role
Field-based Reimbursement & Access Specialist supporting Outlook Therapeutics' retinal disease portfolio during US product launch.
Responsibilities- Educate ophthalmology practices on payer coverage, billing, prior-authorization processes, managing a defined territory, analyzing claims data for denial trends, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure smooth patient access.
- 5–10 years' experience in reimbursement, market access, or patient services within biotech/pharma, with at least 2 years in field reimbursement
- Hands‑on buy‑and‑bill reimbursement experience
- Proficiency with payer policies, claims data, CRM, and Excel
- Ability to travel 50–75%
- Compliance mindset
- Ophthalmology or retina experience
- HCPCS/J-code familiarity
- Pre-launch support
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPC)
- ophthalmic biologics or injectable therapeutics
- product launch support
- Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial payer coverage
- regulated environment
- Partner with sales, patient support, and launch teams; report to Sr. Director, Patient Access & reimbursement.
- Field-based in TX, OK, LA, AR with significant travel.
