About the Role:

Cardio Clinic in Houston, TX is looking for a friendly and organized Healthcare Front Desk Representative to be the welcoming face of our practice. • Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner upon arrival
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information in the EMR system
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries promptly
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance providers as needed
• Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming

• High school diploma or GED required; medical office training or certification a plus
• Prior experience in a medical or healthcare front desk role preferred
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and basic medical billing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Houston market
