Private Caregiver in Pearland area

Job Overview

We are seeking a professional, experienced caregiver to provide private duty care for a client in the Pearland, TX area. The caregiver will work the shift 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (hours are set). Must have valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.

• Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and overall well‑being.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness in the client’s living areas, including laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor the client’s health and report any changes in condition to the agency administrator.
• Ensure client rights are respected and upheld at all times.
• Assist with daily ambulation as needed.

• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
• Proficiency in maintaining cleanliness and organization within living spaces.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the client, family, co‑workers, and agency administrators.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to lift and assist residents safely while adhering to proper techniques.
• Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to providing respectful care.
• Dependable and equipped with reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistent availability.
