Licensed School Psychologist (LSSP)
Katy, Texas
12 Months Contract I Part Time

The Licensed School Psychologist will conduct psychological and behavioral assessments, prepare evaluation reports, participate in ARD processes, provide recommendations and student support, and help ensure compliance with Texas and federal Special Education requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological evaluations.
  • Perform behavioral assessments and applicable mental health evaluations.
  • Participate in and support ARD meetings.
  • Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and legally compliant evaluation reports.
  • Assist with Special Education eligibility determinations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, District staff, and other professionals.
  • Provide recommendations for behavioral interventions, classroom strategies, and student support.
  • Complete evaluations within specified timelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records.
  • Manage multiple assignments and projects.
  • Support District and campus compliance with state and federal Special Education requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Current Licensed School Psychologist (LSSP) certification/license
    .
  • License maintained in good standing.
  • Knowledge of school psychology practices, behavioral assessment, mental health evaluation, and Special Education regulations.
  • Proficiency in assessment administration and interpretation.
  • Ability to prepare accurate, comprehensive, and legally compliant evaluation reports.
  • Knowledge of federal and Texas Special Education requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments/projects.
  • Ability to maintain student confidentiality.
  • Successful background/fingerprinting check.
  • Adherence to professional and ethical standards.
  • Successful interview and professional recommendations.
