Pharmacy Floor Technician – Texas Licensed

Texas Schedule

• Week One:
  Opening shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Week Two:
  Closing shift, 11:30 AM–8:30 PM
• Weekends:
  Every other Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Overtime, holidays, and extended hours may be required

Pay Rate: $19/hr

This role supports pharmacy operations by picking, labeling, scanning, packaging, and preparing prescriptions for final pharmacist verification. You’ll work in a production‑focused environment that requires accuracy, speed, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

• Prescription Preparation — Pick, label, scan, and prepare finished prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
• Daily Drug Orders — Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
• Returns & Disposal — Process returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Prepacking — Assist in prepacking frequently ordered medications, label, and store during low‑volume periods.
• Manual Packaging — Package materials and products manually.
• Medication Pulling — Pull/pick medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Blister Card Labeling — Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy.
• Quality Alerts — Alert pharmacist of any product not scanning properly.
• Workstation Maintenance — Maintain workstation areas and replenish stock supplies.
• Regulatory Compliance — Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
• Department Policies — Comply with safety, attendance, and dress code requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education — High school diploma or equivalent.
• Speed & Accuracy — Ability to work at a moderate production speed.
• Communication — Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Licensure — Clear and active Texas Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Texas Board of Pharmacy.

• Experience — Previous pharmacy technician experience.
