As Pharmacy Manager, you will lead with purpose while helping strengthen community healthcare through safe, efficient, and patient-centered pharmacy services. Your expertise in supply chain operations, medication management systems, medication-use policy, technology, and billing will help ensure patients and care teams receive dependable support when it matters most.

• Lead strategic planning and daily operations for Retail Pharmacy Services.
• Support safe medication use, effective workflows, regulatory compliance, and timely patient care.
• Collaborate across healthcare teams to improve patient engagement and outcomes.
• Oversee technology, inventory, billing, financial performance, and quality improvement efforts.
• Create education and competency programs that support staff growth and professional development.
• Help foster a mission-driven environment where pharmacy professionals can thrive and patients feel supported.

• Establish strategic planning for the Retail Pharmacy Services.
• Identify the appropriate workforce efforts; number, type, qualification of staff required to meet patient care needs and satisfy regulatory requirements.
• Design, manage, and ensure workflows to support efficiency and timeliness of care.
• Establish quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Perform data collection and use appropriate reporting tools.
• Identify concerns and opportunities and make recommendations for change, when needed.
• Oversee appropriate use of information systems and technology, including support systems, automation, and barcoding for safety.
• Oversee pharmacy inventory, control pharmaceutical expenses, and maximize revenue.
• Collaborate to develop initiatives that optimize therapeutic outcomes, reduce drug-related problems, and ensure cost-effective pharmacotherapy.
• Ensure appropriate audits for controlled substances and 340B adherence.
• Oversee the financial operations and ensure appropriate contracting.
• Understand the relationships between third-party requirements, coding, documentation, billing equations, pricing updates, and quality functions for financial performance success.
• Create and implement educational activities to validate knowledge and competency of staff.
• Develop and utilize educational programs to enhance patient engagement and improve patient outcomes.
• Foster pharmacist communication with patients and providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Develop and ensure appropriate policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy
• Active Texas Board of Pharmacy License
• Must maintain BLS /CPR

• 5-10 years of Pharmacy experience with demonstrated success OR
• Completed ASHP PGY1/2 Clinical Residency and/or Administrative Hospital Pharmacy Residency

• Master’s degree in Public Health or Healthcare/Business Management

• Working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and State/Federal laws governing medical services.
• Administrative, management, or supervisory experience.
• Exceptional leadership, mediation abilities, and multi-tasking skills required.
• Strong commitment to customer service and excellence in healthcare.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and graphical representation principles.
• Computer literate in electronic mail, word processing, and office management system software.
