As we continue to grow,we’relooking for a dynamic and compassionate CT X-Ray Technologist.
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedure sin accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while deliveringaccuratediagnostic images for interpretation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT scans following physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate andmaintainCT equipment, troubleshooting minor technical issues as needed.
- Administer contrast agents underappropriate supervision and monitor patient response.
- Verify patient identification andmaintainaccuratedocumentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensureoptimalimage quality.
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the procedure.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Certification:
- ARRT (R) and (CT) certification required.
- State licensure (if applicable).
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered.
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or similar field
- State licensure
- Current ARRT/CT certification.
- Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous conditions.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
- Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
- Excellent customer service skills ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Flexibility in scheduling
