Our client, a premium spa and wellness center in scenic George , is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Massage Therapist . This position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of therapeutic services offered and for guiding a team of talented massage therapists. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional massage experiences, developing new treatment protocols, and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of various massage modalities, a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, and leadership qualities to inspire and manage the therapy team effectively. This role is instrumental in shaping the client's Beauty & Wellness offerings.
- Perform a diverse range of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and hot stone massage.
- Develop and implement innovative massage therapies and treatment packages.
- Train and mentor junior massage therapists, providing guidance on technique and client care.
- Manage the scheduling and workflow of the massage therapy team.
- Maintain client records and ensure all treatments adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Promote spa services and products to clients to enhance their wellness journey.
- Advanced certification in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Massage Therapist , with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Expertise in multiple massage modalities and techniques.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
- A commitment to providing a tranquil and therapeutic client experience in George .
