Kinghaven Counseling Group is seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team at our Hillcroft Clinic. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults throughout the communities we serve.

Position Responsibilities

As a PMHNP, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
  • Diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders across the lifespan.
  • Prescribing, monitoring, and managing psychiatric medications and treatment plans.
  • Evaluating patient progress and modifying treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Collaborating with therapists, counselors, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.
  • Active and unrestricted Texas Board of Nursing licensure.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience practicing as a PMHNP required.
  • Strong diagnostic, assessment, and medication management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality behavioral health services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience treating children and adolescents.
  • Experience working in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
