Working as a Concessions and Bar Manager
, you are responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations for the concessions and bar services. You will manage and lead a team of associates, manage client relations, and ensure that the beverage offered to the clients is of superior quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of each service
- Communicate daily expectations for each service to team members
- Assist with event preparation, including setup coordination and opening procedures
- Ensure concession stations adhere to company policies and sanitation protocols
- Achieve sales goals as outlined in the client's contract and guidelines
- Implement brand strategies and enhance show quality according to company standards
- Maintain excellent relationships with employees, guests, clients, and other departments
- Minimum of Associate's Degree preferred
- Two to four years concession and bar management experience is required
- Comprehensive food and wine knowledge. Applicant should be well versed on food and wine pairings
- Requires operations management experience with purchasing knowledge
- Excellent communication and computer skills are needed, including knowledge of MS Office products
- Serv Safe and TABC Certification Required
