What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

We are looking for a highly motivated Full-Time Banquet Captain to join our team!

This individual is responsible for overseeing banquet events, including service staff performance and event set-up, to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth operations. You will act as the liaison between many different parties, including the Banquets Manager, Events Sales Manager, Event Host and Guests, Kitchen and Banquet Staff, and more. As the personal representative of the property, your job is to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenues.

If you have experience with leading high volume catering and banquet events, making meaningful connections, figuring out what it takes and stepping it up to win the day is what you do, and you love it, we want you! Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of banquet service, including setup, service and breakdown, in accordance with the event BEO, while ensuring high standards of service and presentation.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and catering staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery according to event specifications;
    Ensures final quality check on food and beverage items immediately prior to serving guests.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to guests as they arrive; provides general property information and offers heartfelt and sincere thank you farewell for all guests as they depart.
  • Manage banquet staff in a professional manner, including assigning tasks, training, and providing guidance to ensure a high level of performance.
  • Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to review event BEO details, timelines, and guest expectations.
  • Review menu with staff, including how items are prepared, cooking methods and all ingredients, taking into special consideration for any special request, allergies, dietary request or issues.
  • Answer guest questions regarding menu items and available beverage options, including menu item ingredients, how the food was prepared, and the cooking methods.
