The Role
At Hyatt, we believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive associates who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. Front Desk Agents (Front Office Host) are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience.
Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires. You'll be the face of Hyatt Regency Houston West.
Key Performance Indicators
- World of Hyatt - Always sign up new members for World of Hyatt and welcome current members with a friendly and exciting attitude.
- Guest Service - Check-In, Elite Customer Service & Staff Helpfulness Score should reflect 90% or higher.
- HOTSOS Ensure all HOTSOS tickets are fulfilled with a guest first mindset and are followed up with exceptional service recovery.

Requirements:

- A friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Previous customer service required
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- An understanding of authentic hospitality and care.
- Work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team
- Flexible schedule - willing and able to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds occasionally (consider adjustments based on specific needs).
Visual and auditory ability to interact with guests, answer phones, and perform job duties safely.
