Temp​/Food Services Coordinator

Overview

This will be a (3) month temp assignment located in the Greenway Plaza area working in the offices of our client. Will be responsible for setting up food in various conference rooms for group luncheons, getting the rooms prepared for meetings, drinks, stocking snacks, etc. Previous catering experience would be a plus. Must be dependable with excellent communication skills.

This position will focus on supporting the daily food service operations of the office, including set-up and clean-up of catered client meals and ongoing maintenance of employee kitchen areas. This role ensures a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming environment for staff and guests, and supports internal events by managing food and beverage logistics.

• Set up food in conference rooms for group luncheons and prepare rooms for meetings, drinks, stocking snacks, etc.
• Support daily food service operations, including set-up and clean-up of catered client meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchens, conference rooms, and break areas throughout the day.
• Monitor inventory for kitchens and conference rooms; communicate supply needs to appropriate staff for reordering; restock supplies accordingly.
• Restock conference room supplies, including Sternos, chafing pans, plates, utensils, and related items.
• Assist with set-up and tear-down of internal and external events.
• Receive food and beverage deliveries and verify product quality and quantity.

• Must have a valid Texas Food Handler Certification by an accredited program (or be willing to obtain one).
• Previous catering experience is a plus.
• Dependable with excellent communication skills.
