Position Overview
We are looking for an Experienced Guest Services Agent for the Houston Marriott Westchase, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality. This dual role functions as a Front Desk Agent and as an “At Your Service” Phone Operator.
Position SummaryAs a Front Desk Agent, you will greet and register guests, manage room assignments, and provide exceptional guest service. As a Phone Operator, you will respond promptly to phone inquiries, take in‑room dining orders, manage work order requests, and provide accurate hotel information.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests promptly, register arrivals, assign rooms, deliver room keys, and follow brand service standards.
- Answer calls using PBX and computer systems, using correct telephone etiquette, providing information about hotel services and amenities.
- Submit requests in appropriate systems, update guest profiles, and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Take in‑room dining orders accurately and communicate clearly with kitchen staff.
- Resolve guest challenges professionally, post solutions to the computer system, and follow up with departments and guests.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
- Perform other duties as requested by management to support the hotel operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Previous experience as a front desk agent, guest services, or similar service role, preferably in a full‑service hotel.
- Strong customer service behaviors, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to multi‑task, adapt, and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Independently initiate and organize required tasks, make decisions based on guest needs and hotel policies.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift and carry up to 15 lbs., and perform essential job functions for an 8‑hour shift.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and familiarity with property management software (PMS or OPERA) preferred.
- Knowledge of safety concerns and emergency situations.

CompensationCompetitive salary commensurate with experience. Detailed compensation package will be discussed during interview.
