We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Host to join our team in Houston, TX at Tiny's No. 5. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities to manage the floor and flow of reservations and walk-ins effectively. As a Lead Host, you will play a critical role in maintaining the pace of the restaurant, ensuring guests receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive.

• Manage the floor and flow of reservations and walk-in guests efficiently.
• Control and maintain the pace of the restaurant to optimize guest experience and table turnover.
• Be highly proficient in using Open Table for managing reservations and seating.
• Lead, train, and mentor hosts to ensure consistent and excellent guest service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host area and front entrance.
• Communicate effectively with managers and participate regularly in manager meetings.
• Assign and manage table rotations to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Take ultimate responsibility for ensuring guests are well taken care of from arrival to seating.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Proficient in Open Table or similar reservation management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to train and mentor team members effectively.
