General Manager; WINGATE

Houston, Texas | Full-Time | Starting Salary: $45,000 Annually

Wingate by Wyndham in the Houston NRG area is seeking a dedicated, hands-on Hotel General Manager who is passionate about hospitality, guest service, and building a strong hotel operation.

We are looking for a leader who is willing to be actively involved in the daily operation of the property—not simply manage from an office. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence at the front desk
, work closely with housekeeping and maintenance, and ensure every guest receives a welcoming and professional experience.

• Provide hands-on leadership of daily hotel operations.
• Maintain a strong and consistent presence at the front desk.
• Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service.
• Ensure guest concerns and complaints are handled professionally and promptly.
• Work closely with housekeeping to ensure guest rooms are clean, inspected, and ready for arrival
  .
• Monitor room readiness, out-of-order rooms, maintenance needs, and overall property condition.
• Ensure the lobby, front desk, guest areas, and exterior maintain professional standards.
• Train, coach, schedule, and hold team members accountable.
• Monitor guest reviews and implement improvements to strengthen guest satisfaction.
• Maintain proper front-desk procedures, cash controls, reservations, and shift accountability.
• Work closely with management to improve occupancy, revenue, operating standards, and profitability.
• Be available and responsive when operational or guest-service issues require management attention.
• Create a positive work environment built around teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and hospitality.

Starting Salary: $45,000 annually

This position offers an opportunity for professional and financial growth. As improvements and upgrades are completed at the hotel and the property's operations continue to develop,
compensation will be reviewed and adjusted based on the growth of the property, performance, and increased responsibilities.
