Responsibilities
- Process and audit bi-weekly multi-state payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Review, verify, and resolve timekeeping discrepancies.
- Maintain payroll records including compensation, job changes, deductions, and employee status updates.
- Process terminations, pay adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and off-cycle payments.
- Enter and maintain payroll data in Workday and related systems.
- Administer employee leaves of absence and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws.
- Assist with garnishments, employment verifications, and payroll reporting.
- Create and maintain payroll SOPs and support year-end processes (W-2s, ACA).
- Partner with HR and Finance, including support for tax code requests.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll information.
- Multi-state payroll experience for exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Workday payroll experience required.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and attention to detail.
