Overview

Position Title: HR Coordinator

Location: Houston, TX

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 DOE

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday Onsite 8:30am-5:30pm

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Responsibilities
  • Provides essential administrative support to the HR department, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, employee record maintenance, and payroll processing.
  • Posting job openings, scheduling interviews, conducting orientation, and maintaining database accuracy.
  • Recruitment & Hiring:
    Assisting with job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • Onboarding:
    Coordinating new hire orientation, preparing employment contracts, and managing employee files.
  • Data Entry & Reporting:
    Maintaining employee databases (HRIS), processing documentation, and generating reports.
  • Payroll & Benefits:
    Assisting with payroll, tracking attendance, PTO, and leaves.
  • Employee Relations:
    Acting as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing prompt, professional service, and ensuring confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
  • Minimum 2 years of prior HR experience (can include internship, etc)
  • Microsoft Office
  • HRIS experience
