Recruitment is a sales-driven, relationship-based career where you act as the bridge between companies that need to hire and professionals looking for their next opportunity.
In this role, you are:- Building partnerships with companies in Renewable Energy & Infrastructure
- Advising contract professionals on career moves
- Negotiating job offers and compensation packages
- Closing deals that directly generate revenue for you
- Sourcing and placing candidates into those roles
Every placement you make earns you commission and there is no cap on what you can make!
What You’ll Actually Be Doing Day to DayThis is a fast-paced, performance-driven role.
A typical day includes:
Business Development (Sales)- Cold calling and emailing hiring managers in Renewable Energy & Infrastructure
- Pitching Spencer Ogden’s recruitment services
- Setting up client meetings
- Negotiating terms of business and fees
- Building long-term partnerships
- Headhunting top contract professionals
- Interviewing candidates to understand their skills and career goals
- Presenting top candidates to clients
- Preparing candidates for interviews
- Managing offer negotiations
- Closing placements
You do NOT need prior recruitment experience.
This role is for someone who is:
- Competitive and money-motivated
- Comfortable speaking on the phone daily

- Coachable and eager to improve
- Goal-oriented and KPI-focused
Sales, customer service, athletics, or leadership experience is a plus - but drive and ambition matter more than your resume.
