HRIS Analyst
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for optimizing, maintaining, and supporting HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance systems to ensure accurate data management and efficient HR operations. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to enhance system functionality, deliver meaningful reporting and analytics, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on systems expert with strong UKG experience who can manage configurations, troubleshoot system issues, support upgrades, and continuously improve processes. This position includes participation in a one weekend on‑call rotation per month & the corporate office is located in Sugar Land, TX.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance systems, responding to employee and stakeholder inquiries
- Develop and deliver standard and ad‑hoc reports for HR and business leaders
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to provide guidance, training, and project support for UKG Pro HR, Payroll, Tax, and Time applications
- Configure and maintain UKG Pro Time & Attendance
, including integrations, system maintenance, and timesheet processing support - Support system testing, analysis, documentation, and implementation of updates and enhancements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reporting, integrations, workflows, and system configurations
- Train HR and HRIS team members on system functionality and develop training documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and data integrity
- Conduct regular audits of HR, Payroll, and Time systems to ensure accuracy and optimal performance
- Lead participation in UKG Pro system upgrades
, including testing, change management, documentation, and post‑implementation validation - Support additional HRIS projects and business initiatives as needed
- Participate in a rotating one weekend on‑call schedule per month
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Willing and able to work onsite Monday–Friday in Sugar Land, TX
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of progressive HRIS experience supporting HR, Payroll, and Time systems
- 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with UKG Pro, UKG UTA, and UKG BI/Cognos
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Flexibility to work extended hours occasionally to support operations across multiple time zones
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and electronically
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
