Summary/Objective:

The Human Resources Manager is a hands-on, highly collaborative and analytical data-driven Human Resources professional who will support the business through overseeing employee relations to ensure a positive, productive, and compliant work environment. The Human Resources Manager will exhibit excellent influence, negotiation and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, and the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

This role serves as a primary point of contact for conflict resolution, partnering with operations on employee relations matters, workplace investigations, policy interpretation, and guidance on both employees and management in alignment with USA DeBusks’ values and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

May include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Provide coaching and training to managers and HR on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, corrective actions, separations, and performance accountability issues.
  • Lead and influence employees across the organization, either directly or indirectly.
  • Monitor turnover reasons to proactively identify issues and make recommendations as appropriate.
  • Lead or support internal investigations related to misconduct, harassment, and policy violations.
  • Reinforces company culture by taking a proactive approach to supporting and promoting the company values and culture.
  • Analyze employee relations trends and provide recommendations to minimize legal risk and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Draft and review documentation including written warnings, investigation summaries, and separation notices.
  • Assist in response to legal claims, audits, or compliance matters as needed.
  • Coordinate with other HR teams (compliance, training, benefits, payroll) as appropriate.
  • Partner with the business unit and Talent Acquisition to obtain skilled talent.
  • Maintain detailed, compliant and confidential records of all employee relations activity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge or legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR management experience, with a strong focus on employee relations in blue-collar industries and companies, such as industrial, oilfield, construction, etc., required.
