Job Description

Purpose of the position

This HR position focuses on comprehensive recruitment and HR process management during the factory-setup phase, ensuring full- scale local hiring. It provides HR services to US and China teams, covering policy-making, cultural adaptation, and legal compliance regarding US labor laws. The role also involves employee relations management, creating a positive workplace, executing HR strategies that align with business objectives, and conducting HR data analysis to aid management in decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve 100% local recruitment during the initial factory setup phase.
  • Handle local reception and provide logistical support for business travelers.
  • Conduct data analysis and tracking to provide professional support for decision‑makers in the factory.
  • Offer HR support to U.S. and China teams, covering policy development and cultural adaptation. Manage policy compliance and system optimization.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to foster a positive work environment.
  • Education and work experience

    • At least 3 years of HR management experience.
    • Effective organization and time management to complete recruitment tasks on time.
    • Ensure work is completed in line with set guidelines and business objectives.
    • Compliance with U.S. labor laws, particularly in Texas.
    • Respectful and courteous communication with team members.
    • Effective time management and regular updates to supervisors on work progress.
    • Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision and adapt to changes with improvement suggestions.
    • Bachelor’s degree in HR management or related field. Preference for candidates who understand both U.S. and Chinese cultures.
    • Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
    • Relevant HR certifications. Five years of experience in manufacturing or related industries. New plant setup experience is preferred.

    Supervision

    • This position has 1 direct supervisor.

    Working conditions

    • Office-based role, fast‑paced work environment.
    • This position must be able to respond to after‑hour emergencies and be available to work non‑core hours or overtime to complete various projects without interruption to operations.

    Skills:

    • Comprehensive understanding of the HR management system.
    • Proficient in using office software.
    • Fluent in both Chinese and English.
    • Manufacturing background is a plus.
