SummaryThe HR Specialist will partner closely with the HR team to support recruiting efforts, benefits administration, compliance, and day to day HR operations. This position requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits, policies, time off, and general HR inquiries
- Maintain and audit personnel records and HRIS data to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance
- Support full cycle recruiting and onboarding across multiple offices and divisions
- Support company compliance program efforts across all locations
- Partner with leadership and HR team members on employee appreciation initiatives and employee care programs
- Provide guidance and support on escalated employee matters, including policy interpretation, corrective action, and ensuring consistent application of company standards
- Assist with workers compensation administration, leave management, and return to work coordination
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and workers compensation administration
- Working knowledge of federal and multi state labor laws including FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, and related regulations
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion, empathy, and consistency
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a multi location environment preferred
- Must pass pre employment background and drug screening
- Occasional travel up to 20 percent may be required
- Valid driver’s license required
This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with overtime requirementsor as directed by leadership.
