Talent Manager, Employee Relations, HR Manager
Based near Charlemont St, Dublin. This role is onsite 2 days per week (part-time).
Our client, a well-established Irish SME, has partnered exclusively with Re:work on a fully managed recruitment campaign to find an experienced HR Manager to join their team on a part-time basis.
The RoleThis is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused HR generalist role for an experienced HR professional who is ready to put their experience to good use in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. You'll be the sole HR person in the business - working closely with senior leadership to keep the people agenda moving, advising divisional managers, and making sure people practices are fit for purpose.
This isn't a big org‑structure with big transformation projects. It's about being a calm, credible, trusted pair of hands that the leadership team can rely on.
Our client is an owner‑managed SME with a professional team and culture. This is a standalone HR role reporting directly into senior leadership, who are closely involved in the people agenda and want a trusted partner.
What You'll Be Doing- Performance Management & Development - Ensure the performance management system is fit for purpose, adhered to, and effectively used by divisional managers. Support a high‑performing team to develop and deliver against business objectives.
- Compliance & Risk Management - Keep HR policies, contracts, and the staff handbook current and compliant. Flag updates as the legislative landscape evolves and support managers in applying policies day to day.
- Employee Relations & Engagement - Foster a positive work environment, support morale, and handle employee concerns as they arise. Act as a trusted sounding board for managers on people issues.
- Recruitment & Onboarding - Support senior leadership in attracting the right talent, managing the hiring process effectively, and ensuring new starters are properly onboarded and clear on expectations from day one.
- Workforce Planning - Help align people resource with business goals. Light touch but strategic advising and sense‑checking rather than leading detailed planning.
- One‑Off Projects inc Job specs, competency frameworks, and other HR projects as they arise throughout the year.
- Significant HR Manager experience - you've covered the full lifecycle and can operate across all areas without needing direction
- Background in SME or mid‑sized organisations - you understand how to work without a big HR team behind you
- High emotional intelligence and strong professional boundaries - trusted by leadership, respected by employees, and clear on where the line is
- A delivery mindset - you get on with it, manage your own workload, and follow through
- Commercially aware - you understand what the business needs and shape your HR work accordingly
- Comfortable operating as a standalone - you don't need a team around you to do your best work
- Performance bonus:
Up to 10% based on company and individual performance - Permanent contract
- Pension
- Parking where required
- Annual leave: 23 days
This is a part‑time, on‑site role - 2 days per week (or equivalent, e.g. 4 half‑days), working across core mid‑week office days. The office is open plan and the whole team works together, including senior leadership. The expectation is that you're present and visible when you're in - being on‑site is essential for this role to work.
