HR Talent Recruitment relies on the Recruitment Coordinator to manage the administrative, scheduling, and logistical components of the hiring process across assigned client groups. The Recruitment Coordinator ensures accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism in all interactions while serving as a key liaison between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers. The Recruitment Coordinator also maintains strict compliance standards and supports the consistent execution of onboarding workflows.

Ideal candidates for the Recruitment Coordinator role bring a Bachelor’s degree, along with current or prior Healthcare Human Resources experience. Candidates who also have experience working with applicant tracking systems, interview coordination, or onboarding workflows will be well prepared for success in this position.
The salary range for this position is Minimum $53,000.00 – Midpoint $66,000.00 – Maximum $79,000.00. Hourly breakdown (40-hour work week):
Minimum $25.48 – Midpoint $31.73 – Maximum $37.98.
The Recruitment Coordinator directly supports MD Anderson’s mission by ensuring that each hire moves efficiently through the recruitment and onboarding process, strengthening the workforce that drives patient care, research, and operational excellence. - Schedule and coordinate onboarding appointments for Employee Health, institutional and federal documents, and criminal background check clearance.
- Track onboarding progression in Taleo Transitions for each new hire.
- Monitor completion of new hire forms, hiring manager tasks, and required contingencies.
- Schedule HR and department interviews based on recruiter and department availability.
- Coordinate communication, distribute interview paperwork, and ensure timely delivery of all required information.
- Identify stakeholders and act as liaison to triage client issues.
- Coordinate candidate travel when required.
- Assist with screening candidates, including résumé review, phone interviews, assessments, or in‑person interviews.
- Update applicant tracking system activity in a timely manner.
- Represent MD Anderson at local job fairs and events.
- Support Recruitment Operations in designing and implementing enhancements to Recruitment Coordinator workflows.
- Create reports and monitor progress as needed.
