Our client is looking for a Benefits Coordinator who can work in their Houston office! On site position.

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year.

Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Benefits Coordinator to join our team in the construction industry. This role will be instrumental in managing our benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), HSA, and FSA plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS, employee benefits, benefits enrollment, and benefits administration. This position will also require excellent communication skills, as it involves liaising with vendors and employees to ensure smooth operation of all benefits programs.

Job Details
  • Manage and administer all employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), HSA, and FSA plans.
  • Utilize HRIS systems to maintain employee records and process enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Liaise with benefits vendors to resolve issues, answer questions, and ensure smooth operation of all benefits programs.
  • Communicate with employees about their benefits options and assist them with enrollment.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning employee benefits.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self‑enrollment systems.
  • Assist in preparing and executing benefits documentation, such as original and amended plan texts, benefit agreements, and insurance policies.
  • Analyze current benefits, evaluating the use, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience, and competitive trends in benefits programs.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting for the benefits department.
  • Qualifications
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in the construction industry.
    • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), HSA, and FSA plans.
    • Experience liaising with benefits vendors and administering benefits enrollment.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex benefits information to employees.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze benefits usage and trends.
    • A strong understanding of federal, state, and local regulations concerning employee benefits.
    • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
