Position Summary

The company is seeking a Human Resources Manager who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and enjoys being the go-to HR partner for leadership and employees.

This role is responsible for the full spectrum of HR operations, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, payroll participation, compliance, and hands‑on support
. The ideal candidate is confident, fair, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating in a fully on‑site, fast‑moving commercial real estate environment.

Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Leadership Support
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on performance management, coaching, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
  • Lead employee relations matters including investigations, documentation, and policy interpretation.
  • Support leadership with attendance, conduct, and performance issues—fairly, consistently, and legally.
Payroll & HR Operations
  • Participate in payroll processing (ADP), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with wage and hour regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure audit readiness.
  • Support compensation administration across salaried, hourly, and incentive-based roles.
Talent & Workforce Management
  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment for property management, maintenance, accounting, corporate, and leadership roles.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational needs.
  • Develop onboarding processes that set employees up for success from day one.
Compliance & Policy Management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Serve as the point person for leave administration, benefits questions, and regulatory matters.
Culture, Engagement & Retention
  • Champion a professional, respectful, and accountable workplace culture.
  • Develop employee engagement and retention initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Track and report HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and time‑to‑hire.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience
    , preferably in commercial real estate, property management, construction, professional services, or a similar environment.
  • Demonstrated strength in employee relations and payroll support
    .
  • Experience working with both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with leadership teams.
  • Exceptional judgment, communication skills, and discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) strongly preferred.
