Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Campus Recruiting Intern! You will work with our energetic and growing Future Talent team, which resides within our Talent Acquisition function. You are an energetic, outgoing, organized student with a passion for human resources and talent management.
Your
Key Responsibilities
- Learn how to do full lifecycle recruiting, which includes screening candidates, coordinating interviews, dispositioning candidates, conducting intake calls with our hiring managers, and generating employment offers.
- Work with business leaders to ensure their job postings are up to date at the appropriate schools in Canada and the United States.
- Work closely with our Intern Program Lead to help administer our Stantec Intern Program. This includes coordination of speakers, administration and analysis of survey results, and collaboration with intern supervisors to complete performance evaluations.
- Coordinate career fair materials, such as banners, tablecloths, and giveaways for our recruiting events. You will work with business leaders to understand what event they are attending and how to select materials that match to objective of that event.
- Contribute to Future Talent reporting by tracking and auditing data related to events and conferences, leveraging event management software and manual tracking systems.
- Participate in strategic proejcts as needed.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Takes initiative and shows ability to prioritize.
- Ability to partner successfully with varying levels within the organization.
- Desire to build a career in talent management, talent acquisition, or human resources.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with a sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
Education and Experience
Currently enrolled in human resources or other business-related degree program.
Has previous work experience with relatable skills.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.

** Pay Transparency:
** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Summary:
** Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year.
In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
