Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR‑related duties on a professional level and works closely with the VP of HR and HR Business Partners in supporting designated business clients. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.

Essential Functions
  • Administers human resources policies and procedures that covers all of CAMS.
  • Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management.
  • Processes paperwork for functional areas according to established procedures.
  • Prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
  • Responsible for responding to employee questions and inquiries about employee benefit programs and human resources policies.
  • Administer medical leave requests.
  • Oversee fact‑finding process and provide input when necessary to investigations for site grievances and employee disciplinary issues.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Maintains company organization charts.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR.
  • Knowledge of writing HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of hiring processes.
  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
  • Sound judgment and problem‑solving skills.
  • Customer‑focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
Summary

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record, as this position requires occasional travel for company business. Candidates should be comfortable operating a vehicle as part of their job responsibilities and must meet any applicable company and insurance requirements.
