Job Description

Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a key liaison between the Human Resources department and Field Operations. This position is responsible for supporting and facilitating HR processes across all business locations within their assigned region. The HR Coordinator ensures the smooth execution of daily HR functions by providing administrative and operational support, with a strong focus on maintaining employee records, and performing high‑volume data entry in the company’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS).

Job Responsibilities HRIS & Employee Data Management
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry in the HRIS, ensuring employee records accurately reflect all status changes, including hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and compensation updates in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Organize and prioritize HR service requests (Track‑It tickets and emails), maintaining clear documentation and timely resolution to support regional HR operations.
  • Monitor and act on internal HR reports (e.g., pending hires, terminations, I‑9 completions, license/certification reports) to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely completion of processes.
Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Manage end‑to‑end onboarding for new hires, including background checks, document collection, employment eligibility (I‑9), and HRIS system entry, ensuring readiness for day one.
  • Serve as the primary contact for new hires, guiding them through the onboarding process and resolving any documentation or system‑related issues.
  • Process employee terminations in a timely manner, ensuring legal compliance, accurate system updates, proper documentation, and timely communication with stakeholders.
Field Support & Communication
  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for field managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, handling employee inquiries, and providing transactional support.
  • Maintain frequent and consistent communication with field operations to ensure alignment on staffing actions, employee documentation, and compliance‑related matters.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company requirements regarding employee documentation, including timely processing of I‑9s and license/certification renewals.
  • Proactively alert Operations on expiring licenses or certifications to maintain workforce compliance.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Projects
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, IT, Compliance, and other departments to support shared initiatives and ensure accurate information flow across teams.
  • Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and system implementations as assigned by the HR Supervisor or HR leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Workday, UKG/Ulti Pro, or similar.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
