UT MD Anderson, consistently ranked the nation's #1 cancer program, is seeking an exceptional Associate Vice President, Total Rewards to shape and advance the institution's enterprise-wide rewards strategy. Reporting to the Vice President, People Operations & Strategy, this executive will provide visionary leadership for Compensation, Benefits, and Recognition programs, ensuring they are innovative, competitive, scalable, and aligned with organizational priorities. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, the AVP will lead high-performing teams through experienced managers, influence enterprise decision-making, and drive workforce strategies that attract, retain, and engage top talent across one of the world s premier academic medical centers.
This role is ideal for a transformational leader with a proven ability to develop leaders, drive organizational change, and deliver strategic business outcomes in complex healthcare, academic, or large-scale organizations. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in Total Rewards, including executive, physician, and academic compensation, while leveraging data, technology, and innovative solutions to enhance workforce effectiveness and the employee experience.
- Ten years of professional-level experience in Human Resources, including seven years at a leadership level. Demonstrated leadership experience in Total Rewards program design, encompassing Compensation, Benefits, and Recognition. Demonstrated knowledge of physician and academic compensation.
- Senior Human Resources leadership experience in a large academic hospital setting is preferred.
