Our Client is seeking a knowledgeable HR Generalist to join their team in a highly visible role where payroll accuracy, compliance, and employee support are essential to the organization's success.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing payroll responsibilities with broader human resources functions, including benefits administration, compliance, and employee support.

ABOUT

THE ROLE

The HR Generalist will serve as the organization's primary payroll resource while supporting key human resources initiatives. Payroll administration is the most critical responsibility for this position and requires a candidate with proven, hands‑on experience. In addition to payroll, the role will oversee benefits administration, Texas Workforce Commission unemployment claims, HR compliance, and day‑to‑day employee support.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and company requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll‑related questions and issue resolution.
  • Administer employee benefits and assist employees with enrollment and benefit inquiries.
  • Manage Texas Workforce Commission unemployment claims and related documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and other employee lifecycle activities.
  • Partner with leadership to support HR operations and foster a positive employee experience.
  • Assist with special HR projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Extensive, hands‑on payroll experience is required and is considered an essential qualification.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Experience administering employee benefits.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
