Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $22.14/hour

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Specialist to support daily human resources operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization. This position is responsible for employee onboarding, personnel records management, recruitment support, HRIS maintenance, compliance activities, and employee assistance.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, highly organized, customer-service driven, and experienced in HR administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, maintaining accurate records, and supporting employees throughout the employment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Enter and update employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding documentation.
  • Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, screening applicants, and preparing offer letters.
  • Manage applicant tracking system activities and candidate communications.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in Human Resources, HR Administration, HR Support, or Administrative Support.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with employee onboarding and personnel record maintenance.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems.

    Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred
  • Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN).
  • Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding functions.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
