Recruiter/HR Administrative Assistant Job Summary
Recruiter/HR Administrative Assistant manages all recruitment procedures and will handle the selection and hiring to support different projects. Responsible for achieving staff objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing screening processes.
Essential Functions
- Builds and maintains applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, internet sites, and external job boards; provides organizational information, opportunities, and benefits; and builds and maintains professional rapport to attract qualified candidates.
- Recommends and implements recruitment strategies, including researching recruitment websites, job fairs, and other sourcing methods, and plans and coordinates job fairs and recruitment events.
- Posts job advertisements; organizes, reviews, and screens resumes and applications; interviews candidates; evaluates qualifications including knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitude; verifies references; and compares applicant qualifications to job requirements.
- Completes the full recruitment cycle for qualified applicants, including scheduling and conducting interviews; conducting background, credit, judiciary, drug, and reference checks; assisting with pre-employment processes.
- Updates, maintains, monitors, and audits the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), career site, and other external posting platforms to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
- Compiles, analyzes, and reports recruiting activity; prepares reports, spreadsheets, and presentations; keeps senior management informed with accurate data; identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity; and develops action plans for continuous improvement.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in full cycle recruiting experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of ATS management.
- Previous experience management in ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
- Excellent interviewing skills.
- Exceptional time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to speak professionally to clients regarding both operations and recruitment.
- Schedule availability on evenings and weekends as business demands
- Previous experience working with Federal government contracts is a plus.

Work is performed mostly in an office setting. Some overnight travel; public speaking, evening and weekend work are requirements of the position. Regular computer work is also required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; finger, handle, or feel objects, or control; reach; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk and hear.
