Per Scholas is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to serve as Manager, Recruitment & Admissions on the Houston, Texas team. The right candidate will represent Per Scholas across the Greater Houston area - including sharing the Per Scholas history, mission, outcomes, and admissions process and requirements with prospective learners and applicants. Recruitment of prospective learners will be conducted in many ways, including digital channels, referral partners, and community outreach.
The Manager, Recruitment and Admissions, will also consistently review applicant pipeline data to make data-driven recommendations to enhance the applicant experience and increase conversion throughout the admissions process.
Responsibilities include recruiting viable candidates for training classes, focusing on special populations to include veterans, spouses of veterans, young adults, and women. The role also involves tracking, organizing, and reporting on recruitment and enrollment data in Salesforce, managing relationships at referral partner organizations, attending networking events to increase Per Scholas' visibility in the community, and ensuring all data regarding stakeholder groups is accurately entered in Salesforce regularly.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the coordination of class kickoffs and graduations, performing other responsibilities as assigned by campus leadership, and coordinating community partnership engagements.
Qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, solid understanding of business needs and how to source talent to meet those needs, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel; knowledge of preferred, excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills, excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines, prior knowledge or background in IT and a passion for technology is a plus, strong technical aptitude and organizational skills, strong follow-up skills, and a collaborative and flexible work style.
For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary range of $50,000- $60,000.

Full-Time Per Scholas team members enjoy over 40 days of paid time off each year through a mix of holidays, vacation, and sick/personal time! All employees are eligible for Holiday pay upon hire (a total of 22 holidays annually, including a week off for Independence day and a week before the New Year). Full-Time Benefits Eligible employees also receive 80 Wellness Hours to use for Sick, Safe, or Personal reasons and accrue Vacation at a rate of 8 hours at the beginning of every month, supporting rest, recharge, and work-life balance.
Vacation accruals increase with tenure. Part-time employees are afforded time off on a prorated basis and in accordance with local requirements.

Eligible employees can select from two dental plan options and a vision plan. Employees who waive medical coverage receive employer paid dental and vision premiums.
