Our Client is an established organization in the property management industry seeking a motivated HR Generalist to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact by leading recruiting initiatives while supporting a broad range of human resources functions.

THE ROLE

The HR Generalist is responsible for overseeing human resources and payroll operations across multiple business entities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all HR processes. While this role encompasses recruiting, payroll administration, benefits management, employee relations, and compliance, the initial priority will be driving full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract and hire top talent. The HR Generalist serves as a trusted resource for employees and leadership while helping advance HR initiatives that support organizational success.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, including posting positions, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and maintaining communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Partner with leadership to develop recruiting strategies and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Manage payroll for multiple business entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and employee support.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment, payroll, and benefits regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters by providing guidance and resolving workplace issues.
  • Administer employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leave requirements.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work processes.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Partner with leadership and legal counsel, as needed, on HR-related matters and employment compliance.
  • Support ongoing HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience and align with organizational objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of human resources experience, preferably supporting payroll and benefits administration across multiple business entities.
  • Experience leading full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, payroll administration, employee benefits, and HR compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, with Paylocity experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
