We are seeking a detail-oriented Training and Development Coordinator to support our Human Resources department with employee onboarding, security badging, compliance, and employee follow-up activities. This position is critical in ensuring employees receive the credentials and clearances required to work on secure job sites, including schools, airports, hospitals, and other restricted facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate employee badging and credentialing processes.
- Process and track security clearances for schools, airports, hospitals, and other secure facilities.
- Collect, review, and maintain onboarding and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all new hire documentation is complete and compliant before employees begin work.
- Schedule and conduct 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day follow-up check-ins with new employees to support onboarding, answer questions, and improve employee retention.
- Monitor badge and certification expiration dates and coordinate renewals.
- Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS and tracking systems.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team.
- Communicate professionally with employees, hiring managers, customers, and third-party agencies.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
- Assist with special HR projects and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate’s degree preferred. - Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Administration, Compliance, or Customer Service preferred.
- Must be highly computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with a strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Employee onboarding and new hire administration.
- Background checks, badging, credentialing, or security clearance processing.
- Experience supporting employees in construction, healthcare, education, aviation, or other regulated industries.
- Experience using HRIS, ATS, or onboarding software is a plus.
