Responsible for supporting the development, administration, and governance of the Company’s global compensation programs. Conduct advanced compensation analyses, maintain compensation systems, and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations within the international energy and drilling industry.
PRIMARYJOB DUTIES:
Compensation Program Administration
- Support the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of global compensation programs, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and international market practices.
- Evaluate, analyze, and interpret compensation data, HR metrics, and workforce trends to support strategic business decisions.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc compensation reports for HR leadership and management.
- Maintain data integrity within company HRIS system for the global employee population, which is pivotal to ensuring accurate compensation administration.
- Analyze market data and compensation trends specific to the international energy and drilling industry.
- Participate in industry compensation surveys and evaluate resulting data to determine the Company’s competitive position globally and for individual job classifications.
- Recommend new hire salary placements, promotional increases, market adjustments, and job grade assignments based on internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Monitor Workday data for accuracy and completeness, performing regular audits and corrections as needed.
- Review and validate compensation change requests submitted through Workday to ensure compliance with compensation guidelines.
- Provide compensation related information and guidance to payroll, accounting, tax, and other internal departments.
- Obtain data from external advisors regarding expatriate housing, lease vehicles, goods and services differentials, and other global mobility components.
- Secure required approvals and communicate compensation determinations to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with managers to develop and update job descriptions.
- Participate in annual merit, bonus, equity, and budget processes by preparing analyses, reports, and modeling.
- Provide analytical support for ongoing compensation activities, special projects, and corporate initiatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of compensation best practices, regulatory requirements, and market developments within the energy and drilling services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or a related field of study.
- Five (5) years of compensation experience with reporting and compliance requirements, including two (2) years of experience in the energy/drilling industry with expatriate compensation, international compensation, and/or stock plan administration; and knowledge of compensation concepts, laws, regulations and Workday.
