Técnicas Reunidas is continuing to expand its presence and project capabilities across the United States, Mexico and Canada
, and we are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist – North America to join our Human Resources team.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on recruiter who enjoys working closely with the business, understands technical and project-driven environments, and wants to play an important role in building the teams behind major energy, engineering and industrial projects
.
As part of our North America HR team, you will support recruitment across the USA, Mexico and Canada
, partnering with hiring managers, project teams and discipline leaders to identify, attract and hire the talent required to support both current operations and future growth.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment
, from requisition intake and sourcing through interviews, selection, offer coordination and candidate handoff. - Partner with hiring managers and project leadership to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Recruit across multiple technical and professional disciplines, including:
Construction & Site Operations
Project Controls
Quality / QA-QC
Procurement & Contracts
Corporate and Project Support functions
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.
- Source passive candidates using Linked In Recruiter, Boolean search, professional networks, job boards, referrals, candidate databases and targeted outreach
. - Conduct structured candidate screening and interviews and provide clear, evidence-based candidate recommendations to hiring managers.
- Develop attractive and effective job postings and support recruitment campaigns and employer-branding initiatives.
- Deliver an excellent candidate experience
, maintaining professional and timely communication throughout the recruitment process. - Coordinate offers and support candidates through acceptance and transition into the pre-boarding process.
- Maintain accurate and auditable recruitment records and ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable company policies and employment requirements in the relevant U.S. or Canadian jurisdiction.
- Track recruiting performance using metrics such as time-to-shortlist, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, source effectiveness, pipeline health and agency utilization
. - Work with approved staffing agencies when required while helping strengthen our direct-sourcing capabilities and internal talent pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant education and experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of Talent Acquisition / Recruitment experience
, including direct sourcing and full-cycle recruitment. - Ideally 3+ years recruiting within engineering, EPC/EPCM, oil & gas, LNG, power generation, industrial construction, infrastructure or another technical/project-driven environment
. - Experience recruiting in the United States and/or Canada
; cross-border North American recruiting experience is highly valued. - Demonstrated ability to recruit specialized professional and technical positions and engage passive candidates.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, candidate databases, Linked In Recruiter or similar sourcing platforms, job boards and Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable working with recruitment metrics and using data to improve hiring outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to occasionally travel to company offices, recruiting events or project locations when required.
