Human Resource Manager
Direct Hire
Salary: $85K - $105K annually
In-Office:
Monday
- Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Our client in Northwest Houston is growing! The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all HR functions, including policy, recruiting, compensation and benefits administration, onboarding, payroll, training initiatives and record-keeping.

- Manage full-cycle recruitment for office and field positions
- Work with senior management to identify hiring needs
- Create job postings, screen applications, schedule interviews, and conduct background checks
- Maintain relationships with staffing agencies, universities, and trade programs
- Onboard new hires and process necessary paperwork to ensure a smooth transition
- Field employee-relations questions and help resolve workplace disputes; elevate as needed
- Organize and conduct training sessions
- Develop and implement professional development plans
- Coordinate annual employee performance evaluations, including 90-day new-hire reviews
- Maintain accurate and up to date employee records in HR database
- Conducts internal audits on employee records
- Prepare and administer compensation and benefits packages; support market benchmarking
- Responsible for enrollment and administration of employee benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and leaves of absence
- Lead open enrollment
- Educate employees about benefits and support enrollment and changes
- Support prevailing wage and certified payroll compliance
- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Setup employees and process pay changes in the ERP system
- Ensures all HR functions comply with federal, state, and local regulations
- Develop, implement and evaluate HR department policies and procedures
- Direct employees and management on HR procedures and company policies
- Prepare and submit annual EEO and VETS reports
- Support ACA reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources required with 5-7 years of experience preferred
- PHR, SHRM or other human resources certification preferred
