As a Human Resources Intern at Lyondell Basell, you’ll gain invaluable experience in the full spectrum of HR functions. We offer a unique opportunity to dive into the world of Human Resources, where you’ll work closely with experienced HR professionals and contribute to critical HR processes:

• Project Management: Collaborate with the HR Director and HR Manager on key projects related to compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and talent management. Your contributions will directly influence our HR strategy.
• Recruiting & Hiring: Get hands-on experience in the recruiting process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating the interview process. You’ll play a pivotal role in bringing new talent into our organization.
• HR Compliance & Employment Law: Learn about the application of employment laws, especially in areas like employment eligibility and confidentiality. You’ll help ensure that our HR practices are legally compliant and efficient.
• Employee Benefits & Payroll: Support the management of employee benefits, assisting with new hire enrollments and troubleshooting issues. You’ll also learn about payroll systems and how they integrate with HR processes.

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet application is essential. You should also be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
