Ellaway Blues Consulting is looking to recruit an Entry-Level Recruiter to join our growing Houston team. We are a specialist staffing firm providing technical recruitment solutions across the energy value chain, supporting clients within oil & gas, mining, renewables, power, utilities, and infrastructure.

Working alongside experienced consultants, you will support recruitment activity across technical markets, helping identify and engage talented professionals while developing your own career within a fast-growing business.

• Source and identify candidates using Linked In, job boards, referrals, and internal databases.
• Conduct screening calls to understand candidates' experience, motivations, and career goals.
• Support recruitment across mining and technical engineering markets throughout North America.
• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and assist with offer management and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within our ATS and CRM systems.
• Work closely with experienced consultants, learning recruitment best practice and developing your market knowledge.

• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with people over the phone.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and follow proven recruitment processes.
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or another people-focused environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Organised, resilient, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Someone looking to build a long-term career within recruitment.
