An established energy sector manufacturer is seeking a Recruiter to lead its complete recruiting function. This individual will manage hiring from workforce planning through offer acceptance while developing scalable recruiting processes and strengthening the company’s presence in a competitive labor market.
This is a hands on position supporting skilled trades, engineering, operations, field service, sales, and corporate hiring. The Recruiter will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers while maintaining an organized and positive candidate experience.
Responsibilities- Manage full cycle recruitment for manufacturing, engineering, operations, field service, sales, and corporate positions
- Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, improve job descriptions, and create structured interview processes
- Source, interview, evaluate, and engage qualified candidates throughout the hiring process
- Develop talent pipelines for welders, pipe fitters, CNC machinists, field technicians, licensed engineers, and other difficult to fill positions
- Build relationships with technical colleges, trade schools, universities, and professional organizations
- Strengthen the employer brand across job boards, social media, employee referrals, and community partnerships
- Advise hiring managers regarding candidate availability, compensation expectations, and recruiting conditions
- Track recruiting performance, including time to fill, offer acceptance, source effectiveness, candidate quality, and early retention
- Maintain ATS data accuracy, recruiting reports, documented procedures, and consistent hiring practices
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and future hiring forecasts
- Manage relationships with staffing agencies, search firms, and contingent labor providers
- Support recruiting activity for operations in the United States and Canada
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of full cycle recruiting experience
- At least two years of recruiting experience within manufacturing, industrial, oil and gas, or energy environments
- Demonstrated success recruiting skilled trades, technical professionals, engineers, operations employees, and administrative personnel
- Experience sourcing candidates and maintaining proactive talent pipelines
- Strong interviewing, candidate evaluation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Experience using and maintaining an applicant tracking system
- Ability to manage several open positions and competing priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations
- Experience recruiting across the United States and Canada Experience building or formalizing a recruiting function
- Familiarity with recruiting metrics, workforce planning, and compensation benchmarking
- Spanish and English bilingual communication skills
