Recruiter, Recruiter ​/ Talent Acquisition

This is an on-site Contract Recruiter position based in Houston, Texas, with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment. No relocation assistance is available; local candidates only.

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Recruiter I to join our High-Volume Recruitment Team in a potential temporary to permanent opportunity. This position plays a vital role in sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent across a range of high-volume blue collar and white-collar roles. You will partner closely with Hiring Managers, HR Managers, and cross-functional teams to anticipate hiring needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions that support both current and future workforce requirements.

As a trusted partner to the business, you will conduct intake and touchbase calls, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and help drive a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for high-volume hourly and salaried openings.
• Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and short- and long-term hiring goals.
• Lead intake meetings and conduct regular check-ins with hiring teams to ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the business by offering insights on talent availability, recruitment strategies, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal HR partners (Training & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS, Payroll, and Recruiting Administration) as needed to support recruitment efforts.
• Anticipate future FTE staffing needs and proactively build talent pipelines for key high-volume positions.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining timely and professional communication.
• Maintain accurate and timely data within internal ATS and provide reporting as needed.
• Participate in Hiring Events to support high-volume business start-up or expansion recruitment efforts.
• Uphold compliance with hiring policies, procedures, and employment laws.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Recruiting, HR, or a related function
• Minimum of 2 years of High-Volume recruiting experience in a Logistics or Manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills with the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to change.
• Professional attitude and outlook with a commitment to continuous partnership with others
• Experience with Success Factors or other ATS a plus.
