The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full-cycle recruiting for highly specialized technical and engineering positions supporting petrochemical, oil and gas, LNG, and other heavy industrial operations. This role will focus on identifying and placing professionals across production, operations, maintenance, mechanical and electrical engineering, and EPC disciplines. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner directly with hiring managers and HR leadership while building targeted talent pipelines and managing searches from initial sourcing through offer and onboarding.
Responsibilities- Lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering, production, operations, maintenance, and EPC positions.
- Source and recruit mechanical, electrical, and other technical engineering professionals for petrochemical, oil and gas, LNG, and heavy industrial environments.
- Build targeted candidate pipelines through Linked In Recruiter, job boards, industry networking, social media, databases, and direct outreach.
- Screen candidates for technical qualifications, industry experience, compensation requirements, and overall alignment with position requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to understand technical requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Coordinate candidate interviews, feedback, offers, negotiations, and onboarding activities.
- Manage multiple technical searches simultaneously while maintaining accurate candidate and requisition information.
- Maintain recruiting activity and candidate records within applicant tracking and CRM systems.
- Research talent availability, compensation benchmarks, competitive hiring activity, and relevant industry trends.
- Support workforce planning and broader talent acquisition initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering recruitment experience within petrochemical, oil and gas, LNG, or related heavy industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated success recruiting and placing candidates in technical and engineering positions.
- Experience recruiting across production, operations, maintenance, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and/or EPC disciplines.
- Working knowledge of engineering and technical disciplines within petrochemical, oil and gas, LNG, or industrial projects.
- Proficiency with Linked In Recruiter
, job boards, direct sourcing techniques, and other candidate sourcing platforms. - Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes from sourcing through offer and onboarding.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- Prior staffing agency or executive search experience specializing in engineering recruitment preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring regulations applicable to technical and industrial recruiting preferred.
